Welcome To The Great Commission Missionary Society
The Great Commission Missionary Society, is a society for missionaries and evangelists, a mission of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) to all people who believe in apostolic teaching and practice and the doctrine of Anglicanism as contained in the Book of Common Prayer. AMS is christologically bible-based and Christ-centered society that provides opportunities and resources for spiritual growth, discipleship and fulfilment for its members irrespective of age, nationality and race. AMS is affiliated with orthodoxy and traditional Anglican institutions that uphold apostolic teaching and practice, and the faith once handed to us by the Saints.
Goals & Objectives
The goal and objective of TGCMS as a Christ-centered and Bible-based Society proclaiming the gospel of Christ is raising missionaries and evangelists for the present and future generations:
- That would carry out the great commission
- That would witness for Christ as the Messiah in their personal lives, homes/families and community
- That would be light to the Gentiles
- That would seek spiritual growth and transformation in true knowledge and power of God
- That would campaign for the sustenance of godly and righteous social order and orientation by God, the Creator of the world and of humankind
- That would promote moral discipline and the uncompromisingly sustain the sanctity of marriage as a union between man and woman
